Bongo Senior High School inaugurates New Board

Bongo (UE), Nov. 19, GNA- A fourteen-member new board of the Bongo Senior High School in the Upper East Region, chaired by a retired educationist, Mr Robert Ajene, was on Friday inaugurated to help in the effective management of the school.

Inaugurating the New Board, the Upper East Regional Director of Education, Mr Paul Panga, tasked the Board to complement the efforts of heads of second cycle institutions at curbing acts of indiscipline such as demonstrations and rioting in the Region.

He impressed members to help address the poor performance of students at both the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West Africa Senior High School Certificate Examination.
