Black Stars Arrive in N’Djamena Ahead of Crucial World Cup Qualifier Against Chad

Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, have arrived safely in N’Djamena ahead of Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.

The team touched down on Tuesday evening and will hold their final training session on Wednesday at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno, the venue for the Group I clash.

Ghana, who currently lead the group with 15 points from six games, are looking to maintain their strong position as they chase a fifth World Cup appearance.

Thursday’s match will kick off at 1:00 pm local time, with head coach Otto Addo expected to have his full 24-man squad available.

The Black Stars will return home after the Chad encounter to face Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
