Ashanti regional Secretary for the NDC, Joseph Yammin, is urging Ghanaians to pray for the nation and the President –elect, John Dramani Mahama.
He told Ultimate radio’s Bernard Buachi the time has come for Ghanaians to put aside their political colours and unite as one people to move the nation into prosperity. He admonished Ghanaians to eschew behaviours that had the tendency of plunging the nation into chaos.
Joseph Yammin who was delivering his Christmas message to the people of the Ashanti region on Boxing Day also told NDC sympathizers that the party is expected to announce a date for the Ashanti regional NDC victory rally soon.
He explained that the party’s victory celebration has coincided with the Christmas festivities and hence the need to hold on. He has however advised groups and individuals within the party to celebrate the NDC’s victory in their own small ways whiles the party moves to set a date for a bigger event.
