Apostle says forgiveness will stir up growth

Kasoa, Jan 19, GNA – A retired Apostle of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, has appealed to Ghanaians to cultivate the culture of forgiveness so that with a united front “we can move the nation forward.” Apostle S. K. Ackah, who was delivering a sermon at a joint services of 11 assemblies drawn fron Nyanyano/Kasoa District of the Church said part of the Lords’ prayer is “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us”.

He said, if Ghanaians harbour hatred, malice and petty jealousies, it would divert “our focus from what we want to achieve and that will make the nation lag behind politically, socially, economically and spiritually.”

”All must remain focused on what must be done to bring progress and Christians must show the way by pardoning their offenders.”
