Antrak pilots on strike; passengers stranded, planes grounded

Pilots working with local airline company, Antrak, have declared an indefinite strike over poor working conditions.

It is unclear what the specific demands of the aggrieved pilots are.

The pilots, according to Starr News’ Ashanti regional correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice have refused to fly since Thursday morning.

Passengers onboard a flight from the Kumasi Airport to Accra have currently been ordered to disembark.

StarrFMonline.com understands one of the frustrated passengers is the President of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) Dr Adusei Poku.
