Ajumako Brofoyedur declared the cleanest

Ajumako Brofoyefur (C/R), Aug 27, GNA – A cheerful Nana Adu Buabeng V, Chief of Ajumako-Brofoyedur, on Thursday announced that the Central Regional Directorate of Health Services, had declared the farming community as the cleanest in the Region.

The chief, who was addressing the annual Akwanbo festival of the chiefs and people, said the honour was due to the active clean -up exercises in the town.

Nana Buabeng appealed to the government to improve electricity supply to the town to attract investors.

Mr Isaac Edumadze, Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for the area, in a speech read on his behalf, appealed to the people to vote massively for the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Election 2004. The District Chief Executive for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Mr Kenneth Obimpong, said the assembly would support development needs of the town. 27 Aug 04
