Agriculture Extension Officers discriminate against farmers

Mpaem (E/R), Sept. 24, GNA – The District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa, Mr Ebenezer Ofoe Caesar, on Monday warned Agriculture Extension Officers to stop unprofessional activities in the district. Mr Caesar gave the warning at Mpaem following reports that some Agriculture Extension Officers in the area were discriminating when discharging their duty to farmers.

He said it was unprofessional for those extension officers to favour some farmers and neglect others.

Mr Caesar urged farmers not to hesitate to report agriculture extension officers who engaged in professional misconduct to the appropriate authorities for sanction.
