Afoko, Agyepong missing at Adams funeral

The funeral of the murdered NPP Upper East regional chairman Adams Mahama is underway in Bolgatanga, the regional capital.

The flagbearer of the party Nana Akufo-Addo, Minority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensa-Bonsu and a host of other top party executives have all arrived for the funeral.

Starr News’ correspondent Edward Adeti, however, reports that the party’s National Chairman Paul Afoko and General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong are yet to arrive at the funeral grounds.

Adams Mahama died at the Bolgatanga hospital Thursday after he was showered with acid by some unknown individuals.

One person has so far been arrested in connection with the matter.
