Ghanaian striker Issah Kuka has joined AC Tripoli from fellow Lebanese Premier League club Al-Abbassieh, completing a move to strengthen the club’s attacking options.
The 24-year-old centre-forward switched clubs on 25 August 2026 after spending the previous season with Al-Abbassieh. Both sides compete in the Lebanese Premier League, meaning Kuka remains in the same division as he begins the next chapter of his career with AC Tripoli.
Kuka has already played in three different top-flight competitions during his career. He has made 65 Premier League appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists, while his record in the Lebanese Premier League stands at six goals in 15 appearances.
He also featured in Serbia’s Prva liga, where he scored twice and supplied two assists in 10 appearances. The move to AC Tripoli gives him another opportunity to build on his experience across domestic leagues and adds a Ghanaian presence to the club’s forward line.
Before joining Al-Abbassieh, Kuka played for Ghanaian club Vision FC. He moved there from Hearts of Oak in August 2024, having previously spent time at Real Tamale during a loan spell from Hearts of Oak.
Kuka’s career has therefore included football in Ghana, Serbia and Lebanon. His time at FC Shkupi in Serbia came during the 2023-24 season, initially on loan from Hearts of Oak, before he returned to the Ghanaian club at the end of that spell.
At 1.85 metres, Kuka offers AC Tripoli a recognised central attacking option. His previous record includes 22 goals across the three competitions in which he has registered appearances, along with eight assists.
The move was completed on 25 August, and Kuka will wear the AC Tripoli colours in the Lebanese Premier League. He is now an AC Tripoli player after leaving Al-Abbassieh.
