Role Of World Vision in Brong Ahafo Region is Commended

Kwame Danso(B/A) The acting District Chief Executive for Sene, Mr Thomas Takyi has commended the World Vision International (WVI) for undertaking a number of development projects in the district to raise the living standards of the people. He said the presence of WVI in the district has changed the low social profile of the communities with widespread poverty to an economically viable society where the people are now engaged in income- generating ventures. Mr Takyi made the commendation when the national director of the WVI Mr Bismarck Nerquaye-Tetteh paid a working visit to the district to assess the impact of the organisation’s activities on the socio- economic lives of the people. The visit was also to enable the director to assess and understand problems associated with the district better to enable his outfit offer the best of its services.
