NDC is satisfied about ongoing registration exercise.

Accra, May 7, GNA- The National Democratic Congress on Sunday said it has observed “with immense satisfaction” the success, so far, of the on going voters registration exercise.

A statement in Accra, signed by Mr Vincent Asiseh, Press Secretary of the NDC, said every registered voter will play an important role in deciding the direction of Ghana’s future over the next four years.

” This is why it is essential that every eligible voter actually registers.” The NDC has therefore called on all eligible persons to register and subsequently vote in the general elections in December.

The statement said it regards the current exercise as vital to “our country’s democratic dispensation. “We heartily congratulate every Ghanaian who has attained the age of 18 since the last registration exercise and has therefore become eligible to vote.

“We would like to remind them that it is their civic responsibility to register and subsequently vote in the upcoming general elections.”
