Westphalian Village receives items and cash

Oyoko (Ash), April 16, GNA – The Effiduasi Diocesan Methodist Women’s Fellowship has as part of activities of its third annual conference donated items valued at 800,000 cedis and 200,000 cedis to support the Westphalian Village at Oyoko.

The items included milk, sugar, maize, some crates of eggs, rice, loaves of bread and key soap. Mrs Comfort Amoako-Serebour, Diocesan Secretary of the Fellowship, making the presentation said they see it as a responsibility to be part of efforts at helping to make life comfortable for the needy and socially disadvantaged in society.

She said as Christian mothers, they would do everything they could to assist meet some of the needs of the Village. Mr Francis Asumadu, Assistant Director in-charge, who received the items and cash, commended the Methodist and Presbyterian churches for the regular visits and the help they have been giving to the Village.
