The beneficiary communities include Agona Swedru, Nkumbem, Agona Kwanyako, Agona Kwaman, Kwagyir, Awutu Bawjiase, Agona Wawase, Gomoa Achiase and Gomoa Obuasi.

The Church has constructed classroom blocks and re-roofed some church buildings in the communities, Rev. Charles Arkoh-Nunoo, Central Regional Superintendent of the Church, told the GNA when he presented anti-malaria drugs valued at 250,000 dollars to the Agona Kwanyako health centre.

He said the gesture formed part of the social responsibilities of the Church to help improve health delivery system in the area. He said they would construct a residential accommodation at the Kwanyako Secondary Technical Institute to help solve its accommodation problem.

Ms Regina Oppong, Medical Assistance in charge of the health centre, who received the drugs, thanked the donors for the kind gesture and appealed to others to emulate them.
