Sunyani (B/A), Nov. 6, GNA – A 45-year-old Sunyani-based businessman has been installed Krontihene of the Sunyani Traditional Area under the stool name Oboaman Bofotia Boamponsem II, at a colourful ceremony in the town.
He is known in private life as Mr Kwabena Boamponsem Akomea and succeeds his grandfather, Nana Kweku Peprah II, who died last year. Oboaman Bofotia Boamponsem swore the oath of allegiance to the Omanhene of the Sunyani Traditional Area, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkawiri II, and pledged to work hard to contribute his quota to the development of Sunyani.
There were many sub-chiefs and other prominent citizens at the ceremony.
