Sanitation identified as priority area in Ho Municipality

Ho, Nov.30, GNA – Participants at a two-day workshop on local governance at Ho on Tuesday identified three priority areas that required their commitment towards the development of the Municipality. The areas are sanitation, provision of potable water and revenue mobilization.

The Ghana Accountability Improves Trust (GAIT) II organized the workshop with sponsorship from the USAID and attended by civil and public servants and the private sector. It was under the theme: “Working Together – New Roles for Ghanaian Citizens and Local Government.”

The three areas were identified as the priorities of the Municipality after brainstorming through various suggestions and proposals.

The participants expressed their willingness to work with other stakeholders to ” move the Municipality forward.”
