Ex-NPP Chairman Slaps Vice Chairperson

The police in Cape Coast have begun investigations into assault charges brought against the Former NPP Chairman for Gomoa West, Mr Ben Afful.

Mr Ben Afful allegedly slapped the Current Vice Chairperson, Madam Gyamfua Opoku during the Central Regional Congress of the NPP held in Cape Coast last week. The Cape Coast police arrested Mr Afful and granted him a bail a day after, the Central Regional Crime Officer confirmed this when Peace FM contacted him but said investigation is ongoing.
