After reading the article, His Excellency Mr. Michel Haddad summoned me to his office for some clarification.
The explication is as follows:
Passport Application Form – $20 (Twenty US dollars)
Passport Processing – $80 (Eighty US dollars)
Missing or Damage Passport – $160 (One hundred and sixty US dollars)
Courier from Beirut to Cairo – $35 (Thirty-five US dollars)
Courier from Cairo to Beirut – $57 (Fifty-seven US dollars).
These are based on an official letter from the head of mission in Cairo dated as of 2003.
