The two-day workshop slated for July 13-14, is expected to educate the processed water producers on hygienic production of sachet water for public consumption.

The workshop formed part of efforts to ensure the adoption of good manufacturing practices, as well as hygienic practices to improve upon their competence in current code of good manufacturing and hygienic practices.

Mr Adu-Gyamfi pointed out that water was life and so there was the need to constantly educate and update the knowledge of those, who produce sachet water for the public to ensure the safety of consumers. It was his belief that, members of the association will live up to expectation and produce safe water for public consumption.
