Chiefs and people in Suhum hail President’s retention of DCE

Suhum, June 21, GNA – Chiefs and a cross-section of people, including assembly members in the Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar District, have hailed the President’s retention of Mr Michael Kofi Mensah as the District Chief Executive.

Reports from Akrorabo, Nankese and Coaltar showed that the nomination had received overwhelming support. In the Ayensuano Constituency where Mr Mensah worked as a teacher, the constituency the NPP executive, members of the community including the Member of Parliament, Mr Godfred Okyere, danced to brass band music through the principal streets.

Some of the opinion leaders who spoke to the Ghana News Agency commended the President for the re-nomination of Mr Mensah, saying his contribution to the development of the district and his good human relations could assist in enhancing peace and unity in the area.
