Mankessim (C/R), May 25, GNA – A call has gone to the executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the districts to regard the endorsement of the President’s nominees for the post of District Chief Executives DCEs as a responsibility of the Party and not for only the nominees. Mr Felix Antwi-Nyarko, Mankessim Ward Chairman of the NPP, who made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Mankessim on Tuesday, said the attitude of some dissenting members who made disparaging remarks about the nominees were not helping the party’s development agenda.
He said members holding dissenting views against any nomination should use the party’s laid down procedures for seeking redress, instead of going on air to voice out their grievances.
Mr Antwi-Nyarko appealed to all well-meaning members of the Party to get involved in the discussions to convince assembly members to endorse the President’s nominees.
