Businessman dies in accident

Akatsi, Feb 01, GNA – Michel Afatsawu Susuawu, a 35-year old businessman from Xavi near Akatsi, was on Sunday crushed to death by a bus between Aflao and Akatsi.

An eyewitness told the GNA that the deceased was branching off the Aflao/Accra trunk road on a motorbike at Xavi when the bus hit him from behind.

He said the bus dragged the bike and Susuawu through tree stumps as a result of which the victim’s right leg tore off his body. Abor Police sources corroborated the story and said accident Ken Atsu, the driver of the bus, had been released on bail while investigations continued.
