AMA postpones Assembly session to Wednesday

Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – The next sitting of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has been postponed to Wednesday and Thursday, a statement from the AMA said on Sunday.

The statement signed for Mr Ben Annan, Presiding Member, said the postponement was due to unforeseen circumstances. The statement read: “This is to inform the General Public, particularly Assembly Members, that due to unforeseen circumstances, the continuation of the First Ordinary Session of the Fourth Accra Metropolitan Assembly scheduled for 20th and 21st December 2004 has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th December, 2004.”
