Tipper truck crashes into salon, injuring seven people.

Enchi (W/R) Dec. 12 – GNA- Seven people were rushed to the Enchi Government hospital following injuries they sustained when a KIA tipper truck veered off the road and crashed into a hair dressing salon at Enchi on Saturday.

An eyewitness told the Ghana News Agency at Enchi that the truck with registration number GW 6964 V was speeding when the driver, Yaw Kontah lost control.

The injured include Maafia Dennis, owner of the salon, Elisabeth Tawiah an apprentice hairdresser, and another woman whose name was given only as Ajuah.

The names of the rest who are in critical condition were not immediately known.

Meanwhile, Yaw Kontah, the driver had been placed in police custody at Enchi to help in their investigations.
