Egle party to launch educational drive in Brong Ahafo

Sunyani (Brong Ahafo), 29 Jan. ’99 – The Brong Ahafo regional secretariat of the Egle Party will soon launch an intensive educational drive to sensitise the people on the achievements of the NDC government. This forms part of a strategy to score electoral victory for the Progressive Alliance in the 2000 elections. Mr Elias Lartey, Egle regional chairman, made this known at the party’s regional executive meeting held at Sunyani on Wednesday. He said Ghana under the Progressive Alliance rule has witnessed unprecedented growth in all aspects of national life, hence the need for voters to return the government to power. Mr Lartey stressed the need for logistics to effectively implement the educational campaign throughout the region. He, therefore, appealed to the national executive of the party to assist the regional branch with transport and an office to strengthen the campaign machinery.
