Butcher remanded for defilement

Tema, Oct 21, GNA – A 45-year-old butcher at Ashaiman, who was caught defiling a nine-year old girl has been remanded by the Tema Circuit Court ‘B’.

Ibrahim Inlosokoto pleaded not guilty and will reappear on October 25.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Robert Aganiba, prosecuting, told the court that on August 19 the mother of the victim sent her to sell cola-nuts at Ashaiman.

Under the pretext of buying some of the kola nuts, the accused lured the little girl into a nearby bush and defiled her.
