New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has told candidates who lost at the party’s delegates’ conference that they will still play a role in its campaign for the 2028 general elections.
Speaking in Kumasi on Saturday, October 4, Dr Bawumia said the party would ensure that no member was excluded from its preparations.
“You will be part of the campaign in 2028; there is work for everybody, and we are going to involve everybody,” he said.
He also warned that securing victory would depend on the party remaining united and increasing its efforts.
“Winning in 2028 will require unity; it will not be an easy election; we will have to work harder; we must work harder,” Dr Bawumia added.
