John Boadu has been elected National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), while Daniel Titus Glover has won the position of National Organiser.
The elections took place at the NPP’s delegate conference in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Mavis Hawa Koomson was elected national women’s organiser, while Abanga Fuseini Yakubu secured the position of National Youth Organiser.
Justin Kodua Frimpong retained his role as General Secretary after winning a closely contested internal election with 4486 votes.
Former Member of Parliament for Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, finished second with 1340 votes. Eugene Boakye Antwi received 162 votes, while Dr Charles Dwamena polled 126.
The youth organiser election was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as the party chose new national executives to oversee its affairs.
Abanga Fuseini polled 1550 votes to defeat five other candidates. Alfred Kumi Ababio received 25 votes, Vera Oye Bram-Larbi had 44, Michael Osei Boateng polled 78 and Clement Opoku Gyamfi secured 631.
Chris Lloyd Nii Kwei Asamoah, who was then Deputy National Youth Organiser, received 46 votes.
Daniel Titus Glover was also elected National Organiser of the NPP during the conference, alongside the other newly elected officials.
