Guinness World Record confirms Hilda Baci’s largest serving of Nigerian jollof rice

Guinness World Records (GWR) has announced that Nigerian chef and former record holder, Hilda Bassey aka Hilda Baci, has set a new record for the Largest Serving of Nigerian-Style Jollof Rice.

GWR confirmed Hilda’s latest culinary achievement in a Monday post on X.
The post read: “New record: Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice – 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria .”

Hilda accomplished this feat on Saturday in collaboration with food brand Gino, where she successfully prepared 200 bags of Basmati rice with a giant pot in front of an excited crowd in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event attracted food enthusiasts, fans and notable personalities who came out to celebrate the historic achievement.
