PATAG ends conference in Winneba

Winneba (C/R), Aug.31, GNA- The Performing Art Teachers Association of Ghana (PATAG) has ended its 26th Annual national conference at the Nurses Training School at Winneba.

A communiqu=E9 issued at the end of the conference suggested that music and dancing curricula should be redesigned to meet the country’s needs.

It called for resource centres to be well equipped for the teaching of performing Arts.

The communiqu=E9 said cultural instructors should be employed to assist with the delivery of indigenous Ghanaians music in schools. It said effective teaching and learning should be made available to the training institutions so that trainees could be equipped with the best methods and technologies to deliver quality teaching. It also suggested that workshops should be organized for them to update their knowledge and skills.
