Free SHS challenges: Apologize to Mahama – NDC communicator to President

A member of the Ashanti Regional Communications team of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kwaku Asafo Adjei has called on President Nana Addo and his NPP government to apologize to former president John Dramani Mahama with regards to the numerous obstacles they are faced with in the implementation of the Free SHS program.

The free SHS program which was introduced by the Akufo Addo’s led government have been marred with infrastructural and logistical challenges and Asafo Adjei says the ex-president must be contacted for guidelines to ensure smooth implementation of the program.

Kwaku Asafo Adjei was speaking on Abusua Fm’s evening political show Ghana Amanmuo hosted by Austin Woode.

According to him, the hitches that have marred the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s implementation of the free secondary education policy are due to ‘lack of planning by the Akufo Addo leadership.

He says ‘’the timing and execution of all these things have become a challenge partly because of the poor planning that took place and the very interesting promises which are not easy to execute.’’.
