Accra, July 20, GNA – A day’s Ministerial Meeting to review Government’s policies and programmes is underway at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in Accra.
President John Agyekum Kufuor is participating in the closed-door meeting being attended by all Ministers including Regional Ministers. Mr Kwabena Agyepong, Press Secretary to the President, told newsmen that issues to be discussed would include the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS); Millennium Challenge Account (MCA); New Financial Administration Act; Government Procurement and Expenditure and the New Public Service in Ghana under the National Institutional Renewal Programme (NIRP).
He said President Kufuor would have an interaction with the Regional Ministers to review strategies in the implementation of Government policies and programmes. 20 July 04
