Gomoa West NPP candidate tours constituency

Munford, (C/R), July 8, GNA- Mr Joe Hackman, New Patriotic Party candidate for Gomoa West and the constituency executives have toured 10 zones in the constituency to sensitize the electorate on the need to vote for the party in December general election.

They were accompanied by four other contestants who lost in the primaries, to express their appreciation to the electorate especially the polling station chairmen for their support.

The zones toured were Gomoa Brofo, Munford, Kyiren Nkwanta, Tarkwa, Dago, Ankamu, Dawurampong, Eshiem, Enyeme and Apam. Addressing the electorates, Mr Ben Agyei Afful, Constituency Chairman of the party said there was the need to return President J A Kufuor and his administration to power in order to continue the good work started.

He stressed that the three and half years of the NPP ruling had shown the difference of governments, which ruled the nation after Independence.

Mr Afful said the people of the Central Region ought to give the needed support to the President because of the numerous projects being undertaken in the country.

The Constituency Chairman therefore called on the people to reject the NDC Member of Parliament since no developments had taken place in the area for the past decade.

Mr Hackman asked the electorate to give the mandate to him because he was capable of turning the fortunes of the constituency.

He said if they gave him the nod he would explore all avenues both local and foreign to bring investors to the area to help create jobs for the unemployed.

Mr Hackman who is a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) assured the people that he would not disappoint them.
