Commonwealth Secretary General departs

Accra, May 10, GNA – The Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Don Mckinnon, left Accra this evening for London after a week’s tour of three West African countries namely Ghana, Gambia and Sierra Leone. While in Ghana, Don Mckinnon participated in the fifth anniversary celebration of the enthronement of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Adaikese Festival and also held talks with President John Agyekum Kufuor.

At the Kotoka International airport to see him off were officials of the Commonwealth secretariat in Accra.
