Teachers Told To Be Committed To National Goals

Winneba (Central Region) 23 April, ’98 Teachers have been advised not to make the provision of incentives as a condition for participating refresher courses. They should consider such courses as a “golden opportunity” to upgrade their knowledge and skills to enhance their professional competence. Professor N.K. Pecku, Principal of the University College of Educaiton, Winneba (UCEW), gave the advice when closing a five-day in-service training course on reading skills for 40 primary school teachers at the national Sports College at Winneba.
