Kibi Government Hospital ranked second best managed hospital

The Kibi Government Hospital has been ranked second best well managed hospital in the year 2015/2016 review in the Eastern Region.

Among the first three best ranked hospitals in the region were the Atua Government Hospital in the Lower Manya Krobo District, the Kibi Government Hospital in the East Akyem Municipality and Tetteh Quashie Government Hospital at Akuapem Mampong.

The hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Charles Nyarko who spoke to Koforidua-based Bryt Fm said the criteria used to grade the hospital include infrastructure, how frequent management sent their reporst, number of safe deliveries , survival of children under five years, survival of operated pregnant women during delivery as well as general performance of workers.

He indicated that though the hospital is faced with the menace of National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) debt by government, management are committed to putting on every effort to ensure that patients who visits the hospital are given the best condition of service to help build a healthy nation.
