Veep’s Convoy In Accident

Vice-President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama’s convoy was yesterday involved in an accident in Kumasi.

He was going to the airport to catch a flight back to Accra after praying and addressing Muslims during yesterday’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

According to the Kumasi Police, the accident occurred when a Toyota Landcruiser attempted to overtake the convoy but somersaulted in the event.

There was no loss of life, the paper said.
