Apraku in Paris to attend G8 meeting

Accra, Nov. 10, GNA – The Minister of Regional Cooperation and NEPAD Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku is in France, Paris to attend the G8 Enlarged Dialogue meeting.

The meeting would consider means of making effective contribution to the socio-economic development of Africa. It would be the last G-8 forum before the United States takes over the mandate from France.

A statement signed by Mr J. E. Quarshie, Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and NEPAD; said Dr Francis Appiah, Technical Adviser on NEPAD is accompanying Dr Aparaku, who would be away for four days.

Other participants at the forum are from the World Bank, United Nations, World Trade Organisation and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
