Condom is not 100 percent safe -AIDS Campaigner

Tema Manhean, Nov 5, GNA- Mrs Constance Adda, Health Officer in charge of the AIDS Unit of the Tema Polyclinic, on Tuesday said condom is not 100 percent safe to prevent HIV/AIDS.

Condom, she said, is about 80 percent safe and advised adults, not to indulge in sexual promiscuity but remain faithful to their partners. The AIDS Campaigner adopted drama and sketches to communicate with school children drawn from some schools at a function organised by Tema Municipal AIDS Committee.

Mrs Adda said she who was happy about the target group at the function. She said should Ghana continue to loose her productive citizens through sex, then the nation would have no future.
