PTA Donates Bus to School

Takoradi, Nov. 5, GNA- The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the Takoradi Secondary School (TADISCO) on Wednesday presented a 60-seater bus to the school.

The bus, valued at 670 million cedis, would help ease transport problems facing both students and teachers, Mrs Patience Larkai, Chairman of the PTA said when she presented the keys to the bus Mr Kofi Adade-Antwi, headmaster of the school.

The headmaster said the donation was timely since the school’s existing fleet was obsolete.

He said portions of a new girls hostel project which was suspended, had been re-awarded to a new contractor at a cost of 90 million cedis and that the Ghana Cement Works and Data Link, a computer firm had donated 100 bags of cement each towards the completion of the project.
