Police commence probe into Sota chief’s murder

Police in Dodowa have begun investigating the killing of the chief of Sota in the Shai Osudoku District of Greater Accra and two others by unknown assailants.

The chief, his son, and head of family were in a Toyota Corolla vehicle on the Dodowa-Ningo road when they were shot and killed Sunday (March 21).

Speaking to Class News, Dodowa Police Commander Superintendent Kwesi Fori said investigations into the murder had started.

“The homicide unit has taken over investigations and we are assisting them on the ground for them to pursue a very good investigation,” he said.

“So they are on it and they are working, interviewing people who have information especially on the perpetrators of the crime who used that yellow black jungle motor to commit that heinous crime.”
