A 40-year-old woman has been found dead in her farm at Apegusu in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern region.
The woman who is popularly known as Apataa was found naked with cutlass wounds on the hands and neck.
A resident who was at the crime scene, told Starr News they suspect strongly that her assailant raped her before inflicting the cutlass wounds on her.
The deceased is reported to have gone to farm on Saturday but did not return.
The Gyaasehene of the Community mobilised men in the area to launch a search during which her lifeless body was found in a pool of blood on her farm with her cutlass and other farm tools behind her.
Meanwhile, the remains of Apataa has been conveyed to morgue by the Police.
