Kufuor: Bawumia’s book important for devt

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has described a new book co-authored by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2016 running mate to the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo, as one that seeks to shape the national discourse than having a partisan end.

Speaking at the launch of the book titled ‘Key Determinants of National Development: Historical Perspectives & Implications for Developing Economies’, President Kufuor advised both the NPP and the governing National Democratic Congress, to appreciate the contents of the book to help them find their way clearly, as far as governance is concerned.

“If ever there was an important book for development, I believe this qualifies for it,” he said.

President Kufuor advised Ghanaians to take the bull by the horn and speak to issues critically and sincerely for the good of the country, regardless of whichever party is in control.
