Retired Police Officers congratulate IGP Kudalor

The National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPO) has commended Mr John Kudalor, the Acting Inspector General of Police, for his elevation to the high office in the police hierarchy.

In a statement signed by NARPO President, Commissioner of Police, Kwasi Nakansa (rtd) and copied to Ghana News Agency in Accra said: “We believe that your promotion did not come by accident but it is a befitting reward for your devotion, dedication and commitment to your duties and responsibilities as the Director-General in charge of Police Operations.”

It said the new role comes with new challenges “but we are confident that you will be able to manage the problems and succeed”.

The statement said as “we hope that your tenure in office will see more improvements in the relationship between retired police officers and officers in active service”.

The Retired Police Officers “pray for God’s protection and guidance as well as wisdom, knowledge and strength to enable you take decisions and actions that will bring progress and development to the Ghana Police Service in particular and to the nation in general”.
