Christians, Muslims Urged To Help Prevent AIDS

Homedakrom (Eastern Region), 24, Oct. Christians, Muslims and opinion leaders have important roles to play to avert the spread of aids in the country, Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyoh, missionary-in-charge of the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy, has said. He said the elderly have a responsibility to mould the behaviour of the youth to resist the temptation of indulging in indiscriminate sex. Apostile Agbalenyoh was addressing a day’s seminar on AIDS awareness organised by the church for its congregation at Homedakom yesterday. He said the disease has become a silent killer in the country, adding, “we all have a responsibility to fight its spread.”
