An eleven -year–old Class ‘Six’ pupil has committed suicide by hanging himself in his mother’s room at Ekumfi Abor in the Central Region.
Atinka FM’s Central Regional correspondent Jerry Asare reports that the boy was found dead hours later after his mother, Nana Otwiwa , had scolded him for beating his younger sibling.
The deceased mother who happens to be the queen mother of the Kona Clan of Ekumfi Abor is said to be very devastated upon hearing the unfortunate news.
The body is said to have been conveyed to the mortuary by the police pending investigation.
The sad incident occurred Thursday night.
