Ayensuano MP tours his constituency

Kraboa Coaltar (E/R), July 10, GNA – Mr Godfred Otchere, Member of Parliament for Ayensuano in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District, has toured parts of his constituency and expressed dissatisfaction about the behaviour of some young people.

Addressing teachers, staffs and students of the Coaltar Presbyterian Secondary Technical School at Coaltar he said he was disturbed that some students attend funerals and wake keepings instead of keeping to their books.

Mr Otchere also decried the high prevalence of HIV/AIDS among the youth and warned the students to abstain from pre-marital sex in order not to acquire the disease.

Mr Emmanuel Kwame Asare, Headmaster, said the school needed an administration block, hostel, water and the renovation of the classroom block.

He expressed concerned about one class accommodating 70 students instead of 40 and called on the MP and some individuals to help equip the science laboratory with modern equipment.
