Dormaa-Ahenkro teachers elect new officers

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), July 9, GNA- The Dormaa-Ahenkro branch of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has elected new executive officers for a two-year term with Mr Frank Kumi of Agyeman-Badu Junior Secondary School (JSS) as Chairman.

Other officers were Mrs Susana Opoku-Kyeremeh of Sromani Local Authority Primary School, vice-Chairperson, Mr. Ignatius Michael Anatse of Roman Catholic ‘B’ JSS, Secretary and Madam Agnes Yeboah, Presbyterian Primary School, Treasurer.

Mr. Ansu Gyeabour, district officer in-charge of Guidance and Counselling, thanked his colleagues for the peaceful manner the elections were conducted.

He appealed to them to co-operate with the new executive officers to enable them to promote the welfare of teachers.

Mr Kumi thanked his colleagues for electing them and said they would work hard to raise the image of the association.
