Mahama’s Gov’t is lazy – Nana Akomea

Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea has appealed to the striking medical doctors to rescind their decision and resume work.

Speaking on behalf of the NPP, Nana Akomea pleaded with the Ghana Medical Association to empathize with Ghanaians and pick up their working tools once again.

According to him, if they give heed to the Mahama administration’s attitude towards their conditions of service, they may never call off their strike action.

“They should look at the faces of Ghanaians and call off their strike…We, in the NPP, plead with them to empathize with Ghanaians and rescind their decision.”

To him, the incumbent administration is a “lazy government”; a reason why it has failed woefully to address the concerns of the medical doctors.

Nana Akomea admonished the Mahama-led government to take a critical look at the doctors’ conditions of service and do everything possible to meet their demands.
