Labourers working on the three-storey building which collapsed at Cantonment , stormed the site Monday morning to demand their wages.
The workers were however stranded because the contractor was nowhere to be found.
Three people have now been confirmed dead after an uncompleted three-storey building caved in , trapping 22 and , killing three.
Twelve survivors have been treated and discharged whilst seven others are receiving treatment at the 37 and Police hospitals.
The Labourers told Atinka News reporter, Barima Saakwa on Atinka AM Drive Hosted by Kwame Adinkrah that they were demanding their money .
“We were supposed to have been paid on Saturday so we are here to see if they will pay us”. We are paid GHc35 a day so we are here for our wages,” they said.
