NIB supports June 3 disaster victims

National Investment Bank (NIB) has donated GHC100,000.00 to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), to supplement government’s efforts to assist and rehabilitate the June 3 disaster victims and dependents of the deceased persons.

Brigadier General Francis Vib-Sanziri, Acting National Co-ordinator of NADMO received the cheque on behalf of NADMO, from the NIB team led by Mr Martin Amenyedzi, General Manager, Operations and Technology.

Brig Gen Vib-Sanziri, expressed worry at the looming fear of cholera epidemic in the wake of the floods and its aftermath.

He, however, gave the assurance that the state machinery would closely monitor the situation and manage it such that, last year’s cholera catastrophe would not be repeated.
